Logo & Branding Suite – Paws & Claws

Brief

My objective was to create a branding suite for Paws and Claws. Paws and Claws is a holistic animal clinic that specializes in natural care such as massage and acupuncture. The client wanted a new logo to reflect their business and brand. They cater to a demographic that is the upper-middle class who will go the extra mile for their pets.

Details

Holistic health uses natural healing techniques; therefore, the logo‘s leaf elements symbolize the natural medicines and practices associated with holistic care. The heart element primarily represents the love and care pets will receive from Paws and Claws Holistic Animal Clinic. The tilting heart also reflects a dog bone or an animal paw.

Color

The color palette used represents feelings of health. Both the brownish-red and green colors entice people to feel harmony with nature and give the impression of a down-to-earth company. Both colors represent trust, peacefulness, hope, calm, and dependability.

Typography

The fonts embody both neat and upscale ideals. The sans serif font has clean lines and is easy to read. Additionally, the straight and even design of the font demonstrates strength and stability next to the tilted heart and script subtext curves. The script font is elegant and tasteful, giving the overall logo a high-end look.

Logo

This logo’s design is appealing to all people, including the target audience – upper-middle class and those who will go the extra mile for their pets. The natural elements and colors of the logo convey an unpretentious company. The font communicates strength and experience.
